我最常用的也是粤语

most fluid and candies

因为粤语里有很多俚语

because I feel like most myself

最能表达我想说的

When I speak it

cause there's so much slang right

普通话

Mandarin

我能说的不错

I can speak it well but

但是我不懂那些习语

I don't know all the slang

而且台湾话和普通话有些说法

and there's different slang Taiwan slang versus mainland

不太一样

saying totally difference

所以讲普通话的时候我经常表达不到位

I don't feel myself speaking Mandarin but l feel really

但是粤语就不会

myself speaking candy

但是这个决定很难下

but the decision was

因为

hard because it's like

不知道她会学成什么样

where she gonna go with that

而且学语言真的很难

and it's really really difficult

他不像我过去学粤语

and there's no like romanized system

有罗马拼音

I went through this old ositive learning it right

它没有罗马音

and there's no romanized system learning it

所以很难学，

it's just really hard to learn it

我不想她经历那些困难

and so l didn't want to go through that

所以我选了普通话

so l just chose Mandarin

因为说怎得未来..

because for the future really

但我还希望她脑中有对中文的记忆

that's real but i wanted to have Chinese in her head

比如

like in terms of the language

可以写对

the written language right

因为我没学会

cause l didn't get that and that and that was like the biggest

那是我最后悔的事

my biggest regret is not going to Chinese school

小时候没有去中文学校

when I was a little kid

我父母希望我去

like my parents want me to go

但我死都不去

and I was like I'm not going to school on the weekends

因为不想周末上课

no way I refuse
