想想我们的一生 又有多少步要走

And just think about how many moves we take in lifetime.

估计数不胜数吧

I'll say countless.

没有人能预知下一步会发生什么

我认为 这正是世界真正美好之处

And no one is able to predict

what's going to happen next

which, i think, is the true beauty of our world.

这恰恰为像你我一样的小小士卒勾勒出了一线希望

And that just paints a silver lining like a little soldier, like you and me.

因为凭借这微不足道但绰绰有余的可能性

Because with a little but sufficlent ability

我们可以一招制敌 大获全胜

to checkmate and win the game

通过一路施展我们的策略 随机应变

by planning out my tactics and encountering coincidences along the way,

我或许能在最后一刻闯入对方的将营

I may somehow work my way up until the last rank,

成为棋局最后的赢家

and become a queen at the end of the game.

世界本就不公平

The world is not fair.

但这不会消减生活的意义

But it doesn't make it any less worthy of living.

所以不如就依仗你所拥有的

So, go play with what you have

大胆假设 小心求证 去博弈 去释放人生未知的可能性

carefully but boldly at the same time to unleash the unknown possibilities of life,

去改变世界的法则

or change the game.
