It feels pretty good to say that.
我值得
I’m worth it.
这句话很有魔力
It’s magic, that phrase.
我相信你可能在想
And I’m sure you’re probably thinking.
“她说得倒容易”
“Well, that’s easy for her to say.
“她花了好几个小时做妆发才这样”
She’s been sat in hair and makeup for hours to look like that.
“她当然觉得值得”
Of course she feels worth it.
因为美丽让人觉得是一种超能力
Because beauty can feel like a super power.
对吧
Right?
但在某些时候我必须要卸掉妆容
But this has to come off at some point.
所以棘手的是
So, the tricky part,
对我们来说真正棘手的是
The really tricky part for all of us,
知道如何在没有妆发的情况下感觉“值得”
is knowing how to feel 'worth it' without any of this.
因为说实话
Cos' let's be honest,
我真的不是一直都会这样
I really don’t look like this all the time.
我是说 谁会一直这样呢
I mean, who does?
那么卸妆后的我值得吗
So, so then is what's left worth it?
我们年轻的时候
When we’re younger
经常认为“价值”是关于我们的脸
We often think that 'worth' is all about our face,
或者我们的身材
Or our body shape,
或者我们得到多少关注
or how much attention we get,
或者我们有多受欢迎
or how popular we are,
或者与朋友相比 自己得到了多少个"赞"
Or how many 'likes' you get,compared your friends.
但是"价值"和这些都无关
But it's not about any of that.
我值得
I’m worth it.
是拥有做自己的权利
is about owning your right to be you.
坚持自己的真理
To stand in your truth,
你的身材 皮肤和脸庞
with your body, your skin and your face
这些都会随着岁月的流进而改变
which is going to change as the years pass,
这是事实
That’s just a fact.
但是勇敢地相信自己是值得的
But feeling brave enough, to believe that you are worth it
这是我们可以帮助对方做到的事
is something we can all help each other to do.
而且说起来容易做起来难
And it's easier said than done,
我们都有不满意自己的地方
We’ve all got things that we criticize in ourselves
我们有时想改变自己或者与他人比较
And that we sometimes want to change or compare to others,
我们的伤疤 不完美和差异
Our scars and imperfections and our differences.
但所有这些东西
But all of those things make us
让我们成为真的自己
exactly who we ere,
也许当我们在这个世界上行走时
And perhaps as we all walk through the world,
我们可以出现在对方面前并不加以评判
we can show up for each other without judgement,
无论我们有什么不同
Whatever our differences
无论你的身份如何
and however you identify.
因为在团结和包容中
Because in unity and with acceptance
我们可以一起变得更好
we can be greater together.
所以让我们相互依靠
So, let’s lean on one another,
相互赞美
celebrate each other,
并且知道无论是香化妆
and know that with or without the makeup,
做你自己做真实的自己
being you, being authentically you,
才是最重要的
is all that matters.

And that’s worth it,

So look in the mirror,

however you are right now.

Whatever your hang-ups or your goals might be,
